Educational Technology Minigrants

SEARCH FOR FUNDED PROJECTS
This site provides access to summaries of the funded projects since the program's inception and can be accessed by principal investigator, school or format. It is intended to showcase the program, provide background for new applicants and demonstrate the innovative approaches UMDNJ faculty have deployed to enhance its academic programs.
BACKGROUND & INTRODUCTION
The Educational Technology Minigrant Program, which has been seeding projects for over 10 years, is designed to promote the use of technologies in education in ways that can be demonstrated to enhance learning. The maximum amount an applicant can request is $20,000; all project principal investigators must be full-time UMDNJ faculty members. Although the program has been funded from several sources since its inception, it has been supported most recently by the Foundation of UMDNJ.
TYPES OF PROJECTS
Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate imaginative and innovative uses of educational technology in one or more areas such as faculty and student development, course design, curriculum development, teaching methods, delivery of course content, etc.; to focus on evaluation of the effectiveness of educational technology; and to collaborate on projects with other schools and/or departments.
